MEGA may delete your account if it is inactive for a year. It is recommended you log in to your account once a year to prevent this.

How to Make Multiple MEGA Accounts
It is recommended you keep a spreadsheet of all the extra accounts you make, and what you keep on the accounts. This way, you won't lose track of how much storage space you have, and what you have uploaded.

• ​​If you have a Gmail account, you can add +(number) to the end of it to sign up. MEGA will see it as a separate email, but Gmail won't, so it'll just send it to your normal email. You can increase the numbers continuously.
  • Example: YourEmail@gmail.com -> YourEmail+1@gmail.com, YourEmail+2@gmail.com, YourEmail+3@gmail.com, etc.
• You can also use a temporary email service like 10minutemail or temp-mail to create temporary email accounts to sign up.

​This is a method that has only recently become available. It has a database of shows you can help grow. You can make an account and use the database create a list of the things you have and want on Encora, and add it to the database if it's not already there. The more people who help it grow, the easier it will get for everyone to use.

Encora will automatically match you up with other members who have your wants, making it really convenient to find them. You can also see other Traders' lists and wants. Their database of things is growing every day.

The information there was a bit outdated. MEGA no longer offers permanent 50GB accounts, Google Drive has usurped MediaFire for the second most popular position, etc.

Removed the following defunct information from Hosting Sites' 4Shared section:

• If you download a sketchy browser called Citrio, 4shared will give you free premium if you download from it using that browser. DO NOT use Citrio for anything else though, because it's been known to collect your information and do generally sketchy stuff.

Removed from home page:

• A command line (Terminal) tool that gets around MEGA's limit for Mac.

Added to MEGA section:

• Another useful thing about MEGA is that it allows you to import other MEGA links to your account, so you don't have to download and reupload things.

Added to Google Drive section:

• Like MEGA, it also to import other Drive links to your account, so you don't have to download and reupload things.

• There are also a few programs that can help you:
  • For Windows, download this program someone made. It gets around the download limit. BE WARNED, if two of the files you’re downloading have the same name (example: the Act 1 folder has a file in it called VTS_01_1 and the Act 2 folder also has a file in it named VTS_01_1), sometimes there’s a glitch in the program where it downloads both files into one video, so you get this weird choppy mix of both the files. This is easily fixed by downloading each folder separately. You can download each folder separately by making an account with Mega.nz, and importing the files into your account, and from there making a download link for each folder.​
  • For Mac, you're gonna have to get technical. Only get this if you know what you're doing. There's a command line app called Megatools. It'll get around the limit. There's also a GUI called Ananke someone made for Megatools. I recommend downloading each file individually because sometimes the download will stop and since it downloads things in batches when you restart the download you'll have to trash the files it only downloaded halfway because it won't remember where it left off.​ 

Also added this line to the Mega section in Hosting Sites in Mega Debrit:
                    The filesize limit is 3GB, and the time limit is 16 hours.
